QPharm acquires new pharmaceutical packaging facility

It’s been a while since I’ve blogged, but with such big news I figured it was a good time to get back into it. QPharm will be moving all pharmaceutical packaging this upcoming fall to a newly built facility located at 180 Werlich Drive, Cambridge Ontario, just minutes from the current Bishop Street facility.  While the design of the facility will be finalized in the coming weeks, we can confirm that the new facility will be 16,000+ sq ft and will feature upwards of 7 to 8 GMP packaging rooms designed specifically for the packaging and manufacturing of DIN and NHP products. QPharm will continue to offer its long standing packaging services such as:

1. tablet and capsule bottle filling, liquid bottle filling

2. pharmaceutical and health product blister packaging

3. stick pack pouching (1 to 6 grams)

4. larger pouching (6 to 100 grams)

5. pharmaceutical secondary packaging

However, we will also be offering new services. Such services will include:

1. small bottle powder filling

2. towlette packaging

3. numerous secondary packaging services (promotional assembly, commercial assembly, etc.)
